How much does it cost to use the Antigonish Pro Directory?
It is free to list and use the directory. And you’ll always be able to list your business for free. In the future, we may also offer featured listings for increased exposure.
Who is Antigonish Pro for?
Antigonish Pro is for residents of Antigonish and visitors to discover skilled, local professionals.
Can I get banned from the directory?
Yes. We have a zero tolerance policy for exploitative, hateful, discriminatory, illegal, scammy, and harmful content. All content posted on the directory must also be family-friendly. This includes text, images, videos, and concepts.
If you see harmful or inappropriate content, please report it.
How can I get more exposure?
In addition to the Free Listing, we may offer Featured Listings for increased exposure opportunities.
We recommend that you claim your listing and complete all (or many) of the fields. The more you enter, the more opportunities for discovery by our visitors.
My business isn’t in Antigonish County. Can I get listed?
No. Antigonish Pro is only for businesses with operations within the county. If you aren’t listed, you can submit by clicking the Submit New Listing button. Here’s more about how it works.
What businesses can be listed on Antigonish Pro?
Every business must be physically located in Antigonish. And naturally fall into one of the established categories.
The Antigonish Pro directory is organized into 4 categories:
What businesses can’t be listed in the Antigonish directory?
Businesses outside of the four primary categories can’t be listed. At least not yet. These other businesses include retail, food service, and automotive.
What other groups and events can’t be listed?
We also don’t list non-profits, religious groups, natural attractions, or local events, among other things. Every listing is subject to editorial approval. Not all listings will be approved.
What type of information can I add to my Antigonish.Pro profile?
You can add your contact information (address, phone, email, website, and social media profiles). You can also add your booking link (or contact form), embed videos, upload photos, and include a detailed business description. There are also fields for your hours of business, founders’ names, number of employees, year established, and more. Plus, you can select your physical location so it displays on the embedded map.
My professional business isn’t covered by one of the existing categories. What can I do?
If you represent a business or organization in one of the four categories above, please reach out. If there is enough interest, we may add additional categories in the future.
